So what's new?
 
The stand now has built-in clamps that will fit a bench or tabletop from 25-40mm deep (includes a small timber board for tabletops less that 25mm deep - use under the table for the bolts to tighten up to)
Removable bar
Use the flat edge for hāpine on the stand or as a hand tool
Use the blade edge for hāro on the stand or as a hand tool
Protective foam under frame to protect your tabletop
Easy to use for right and left handed users
 
Use as a stand by clamping it to your table or bench, and sit or stand whilst preparing whenu - hāpine using the straight side, or hāro using the blade side, nice and easy to change from one to the other;
 
OR
 
Use as a hand tool to hāpine or hāro, with a hole at each end for you to add your own muka or waxed cord once you find which way you prefer to use it.
